ultimate in well-designed kitchen furniture. Founded by August Siekmann in 1929, SieMatic
is a company with a pioneering spirit, rooted in the heritage of sophisticated product
design and precision engineering.
The History of SieMatic: 1929 - 1939 SieMatic opens
its doors with the production of freestanding furniture, wooden buffets and sideboards. 1946
- 1958 SieMatic pioneers the use of automated production line technology in the
creation of its kitchen furniture, leading to what would soon be known as the
"fitted" kitchen. 1960 SieMatic introduces the first "fitted"
kitchen -- a revolutionary concept of lining kitchen walls with perfectly fitting cabinets
created to work together. 1979 SieMatic's design aesthetic is internationally
embraced. Company begins expansion into Europe, Africa, Asia and North America. Today
SieMatic has showrooms across the United States, Canada, and the Americas.
